Open at last
It finally happened and last night we managed to open after 194 very long days. It was good to see everyone back home. The turnout was wonderful and the support overwhelming.
Funny thing about bars: When you go to a shoestore and buy a pair of shoes you don’t normally buy a pair for the owner of the store. But when you go to a bar, you buy a drink for the owner of the bar. Strange and wonderful tradition that got me well and truly hammered last night.
A big “Thank You” to all that came or called. Come back again today and bring more cash!

Finalmente, após um longo e tenebroso verão, abrimos a espelunca. Foi bom demais ver vocês em casa, com casa cheia e apoio incrível.
Uma coisa curiosa de bar; quando você compra um par de sapatos, você não compra um par para o dono da loja também. Mas quando você compra uma bebida, você você, aí sim, compra uma para o dono do bar. Tradição maravilhosa que acabou comigo ontem.
Um grande “Obrigado” a todos que vieram ou ligaram para parabenizar. Podem voltar hoje. E não esquçam de trazer a grana!
